This gift was amazing for my 4 yo. The “sand” was an absolute nightmare. It didn’t do anything but look like cornmeal floating on the top. Didn’t want to drain it in the sink had to throw outside. It stuck to everything never made cool underwater sand sculptures it just floated at the top! The fish was cool and my kid absolutely loves splashing in her mini tank!

My daughter loves this. She plays with it all day. Love how the robotic is worked to have intermittent tail fin movement like a real fish.

My son is loving this Robo Fish. He is having a great time, really enjoying it.

My grandson really enjoy the Robo Alive fish. They look and move just like real fish! Works better when you have several Robo Alive fish in fish bowl.

Only downfall for me was cleaning up the “fishfood” or whatever it is, it’s sand-like texture and it’s fun to push around in the water bowl and pretend to feed the fish, but I didn’t feel comfortable putting it down the drain so dumped it outside. The robot fish swims for a long time and my kid had a lot of fun with it

Got this as enrichment for my cat and she loves it (she named him Meow). She enjoys watching him swim and I appreciate the plastic bowl and that she can grab at the fish with her paws without frightening or harming a real fish.A note for cats or very young children: the magic sand is NOT nontoxic – the instructions say if it’s swallowed to call poison control immediately. It’s quite messy and particles will float on the surface no matter how careful you are. I dumped it after trying it because it would have wound up on her paws and in her mouth. Best avoided with pets and wee ones.The fish stops moving after 4 minutes, but touching it will wake it again. Very pleased with this fish.E: I added a photo. She’s just got done playing with her fish and is knackered. Meow has been put to bed. I got this for my granddaughters. It was a lot of fun. Even the cat came to see if it was real.

The Zuru robo alive fish play set is a great item for the whole family. It is a very easy set up and the fish looks so real. Additional fish can be purchased. Our family added 3 additional fish and it is like we have a real aquarium. I highly recommend this product if you don’t want to deal with a real fish. They are also great for the pool and bath tub.
